Shipping Policy
Thank you for shopping with Buitrago Cigars. Please review our shipping policy before placing your order.
We work to process and ship orders as quickly as possible while complying with age-verification requirements, carrier restrictions, product-specific shipping requirements, and applicable laws.
Order Processing Time
Please allow approximately 48–72 business hours for order processing and verification before shipment.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Orders placed during weekends, holidays, periods of high order volume, or orders requiring additional verification may require additional processing time.
Some orders may also experience delays if we are awaiting inventory from a manufacturer or distributor.
Processing time is separate from carrier transit time.
Estimated delivery times begin after your order has been processed, shipped, and accepted by the carrier.
Tracking Information
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number.
Please allow time for tracking information to update. A shipping label may be created before the carrier physically receives or scans the package.
Therefore, receiving a tracking number does not necessarily mean the package is already moving through the carrier's network.
Shipping Carriers
Buitrago Cigars primarily uses USPS and UPS for domestic shipments.
Available shipping methods may include:
USPS Ground Advantage
USPS Priority Mail
UPS Ground
Other eligible carrier services when appropriate
The carrier and shipping method used may depend on the destination, package size, product type, applicable regulations, and other shipping requirements.
Buitrago Cigars reserves the right to select or change the carrier or service when necessary to safely and appropriately fulfill an order.
Free Shipping on Orders Over $199
Free shipping is available on qualifying retail orders of $199 or more.
Free shipping eligibility is calculated based on qualifying merchandise and any applicable promotional requirements.
Wholesale orders do not qualify for the standard $199 retail free-shipping offer. Wholesale customers should refer to the applicable wholesale shipping terms.
When an order qualifies for free shipping, Buitrago Cigars reserves the right to select the appropriate eligible shipping carrier and service.
Shipping Charges
Applicable shipping charges are displayed in your shopping cart or during checkout before you complete your purchase.
Shipping costs may vary depending on:
Delivery destination
Package size and weight
Products ordered
Carrier
Shipping service
Adult-signature requirements
Other applicable shipping requirements
Age Verification & Adult Signature
Buitrago Cigars sells age-restricted products intended only for customers 21 years of age or older.
Orders are subject to age verification.
Certain shipments may also require Adult Signature or proof of legal age upon delivery.
When required, the person accepting the package must be of legal age and may be required to present a valid government-issued photo ID to the carrier.
Age verification performed when placing an order and age verification performed by the carrier at delivery are separate processes.
P.O. Boxes
Orders shipped to a P.O. Box must use an eligible USPS service.
UPS cannot deliver to standard USPS P.O. Boxes.
Certain products may not qualify for delivery to a P.O. Box because of carrier, product, adult-signature, or regulatory restrictions.
Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam & U.S. Territories
Shipping availability and carrier options for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and other U.S. territories may differ from shipments within the contiguous United States.
Eligible orders may be shipped using USPS or another available service depending on the products, destination, and applicable shipping requirements.
Additional transit time may be required.
APO/FPO Addresses
Eligible orders may be shipped to APO/FPO addresses using USPS when permitted.
Delivery times to military addresses may vary and can take longer than standard domestic delivery estimates.
Product restrictions may apply.
Lighters
Lighters are subject to special carrier and transportation restrictions.
When eligible for shipment, lighters may require UPS Ground or another approved ground transportation service.
Lighters are shipped without butane or fuel when required. The customer is responsible for properly filling the lighter with the appropriate fuel after delivery.
Because of carrier restrictions, adding a lighter to an order may affect the shipping methods available for the entire shipment.
Humidors & Large Packages
Humidors, large orders, heavy packages, and certain business orders may be shipped using UPS Ground or another appropriate carrier service.
Buitrago Cigars reserves the right to select the most appropriate shipping method based on package dimensions, weight, destination, and product requirements.
Little Cigars & Filtered Cigars
Little cigars, filtered cigars, and other regulated tobacco products may be subject to specific carrier and shipping requirements.
The shipping method available during checkout may vary depending on the product and destination.
Restricted Shipping Destinations
Certain products cannot be shipped to particular states, cities, counties, territories, or other jurisdictions because of applicable laws, licensing requirements, carrier restrictions, or product-specific regulations.
Our current Shipping Policy identifies Montana and Arizona as restricted shipping destinations.
Additional restrictions may apply depending on the specific product being purchased.
Buitrago Cigars reserves the right to refuse, hold, modify, partially fulfill, or cancel an order when we determine that a product cannot legally or compliantly be shipped to the destination provided.
Successfully placing an order on our website does not guarantee that every product in the order is eligible for shipment to the destination.
California Orders
Orders shipped to California may be subject to Adult Signature Required and other applicable age-verification or delivery requirements.
Additional product restrictions may also apply based on state or local law.
Vape & ENDS Products
Vape products and Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS) are subject to additional federal, state, local, and carrier restrictions.
USPS generally prohibits mailing ENDS products except under limited authorized circumstances. As a result, shipping methods available for other Buitrago Cigars products may not be available for vape or ENDS products.

International Shipping
Buitrago Cigars currently does not offer direct international shipping.
International customers may choose to use an independent U.S.-based freight forwarder when permitted by the forwarder and applicable law.
When a freight forwarder is used, Buitrago Cigars' delivery obligation is to the eligible U.S. shipping address provided with the order.
Customers are responsible for confirming applicable export, import, customs, tax, product, and regulatory requirements.

Delivery Estimates
All carrier delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated by the applicable carrier service.
Delivery may be affected by:
Weather
Holidays
Carrier delays
Transportation disruptions
Incorrect or incomplete addresses
Adult-signature requirements
Remote destinations
Other circumstances outside of Buitrago Cigars' control
Carrier transit estimates begin after the carrier receives the package, not when the order is originally placed.
Missing, Delayed or Unavailable Items
Occasionally, an item may become unavailable while an order is being processed.
Depending on the circumstances, Buitrago Cigars may:
Hold the order briefly while awaiting inventory
Ship available products separately
Remove an unavailable product and ship the remaining items
Issue a refund for an unavailable item
Offer store credit when appropriate
Assist with finding an alternative product
If your order has exceeded our normal processing period, please contact customer service and provide your order number.
Returns
Most eligible new, unopened, and unused merchandise may be returned within 15 days of delivery, subject to our Return Policy.
