Age Verification Policy

Buitrago Cigars sells tobacco and other age-restricted products intended only for adults 21 years of age or older.

To comply with applicable laws and help prevent the sale of age-restricted products to minors, orders placed through Buitrago Cigars are subject to age verification.

How Does Age Verification Work?

Buitrago Cigars uses AgeChecker.net, a third-party age and identity verification service, to assist with verifying customers.

During checkout, you may be asked to provide information such as your:

• Full name

• Date of birth

• Billing or shipping address

AgeChecker.net uses this information to attempt to verify that you meet the minimum age requirement.

In many cases, verification can be completed automatically without requiring you to upload identification.

Why Am I Being Asked to Upload My ID?

If AgeChecker.net cannot automatically verify your age using the information provided during checkout, you may be asked to submit a valid government-issued photo ID.

Examples may include:

• Driver's license

• State-issued identification card

• Passport

• Other accepted government-issued photo identification

Being asked for identification does not necessarily mean there is a problem with your order. It simply means additional information is required to complete the age-verification process.

How Can I Avoid Age Verification Delays?

Please make sure the information entered during checkout is complete and accurate.

Your name, date of birth, billing information, and address should correspond with your valid identification and other verification records.

Incorrect, incomplete, or mismatched information may prevent automatic verification and result in a request for additional identification.

What Happens If My Age Cannot Be Verified?

We cannot process or fulfill an age-restricted order when the required age verification cannot be successfully completed.

If AgeChecker.net requests additional information, please follow the instructions provided during the verification process.

If you are experiencing technical difficulties specifically with AgeChecker.net's verification system, you can contact their verification support team directly.

You may also contact Buitrago Cigars Customer Service through our Help Center if you have questions regarding your order.

Will I Have to Verify My Age Every Time I Order?

Not necessarily.

AgeChecker.net may recognize previously verified customers, which can allow future orders to be verified without requiring another ID upload.

However, additional verification may still be requested when necessary.

Is My Information Secure?

AgeChecker.net states that customer information is transmitted securely and used for age and identity verification purposes.

According to AgeChecker.net, when photo identification is required, ID images are generally deleted after verification unless additional retention is required and appropriate consent is obtained.

For more information about how AgeChecker.net handles verification information, please review their Age Verification Privacy Policy.

Will My Age Be Verified Again When My Order Is Delivered?

It may be.

Age verification during checkout and age verification at delivery are separate processes.

Depending on the product, destination, carrier, and applicable requirements, your shipment may require an adult signature or proof of legal age at delivery.

The carrier may require the person accepting the package to present a valid government-issued photo ID.

Please review our Shipping Policy for additional shipping and delivery information.
